Services: YemenZel website (https://yemenzel.com), Android app, and related APIs.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. It is designed to meet transparency expectations for Google Play (including Data safety) and Google AdMob / advertising policies.

1. Who we are
YemenZel is a classifieds marketplace focused on Seiyun and Hadhramaut, Yemen. It is operated by AsoolSoft.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to information collected through our website, mobile application, and backend services. It does not cover third-party websites, apps, or services that we do not control, even if linked from YemenZel.
3. Information we collect
Depending on how you use YemenZel, we may collect:
3.1 Account and profile data
- Name, email address, phone number
- Profile photo and verification details you choose to submit
- Login identifiers (including Google Sign-In / Firebase Authentication identifiers when you use those methods)
3.2 Listings and marketplace activity
- Ad title, description, price, category, images/media you upload
- Location you select from our lists (city/area) — we do not require continuous device GPS location in the current Android app
- Favorites, reports, and similar in-app actions
3.3 Communications
- Messages and attachments you send through in-app chat
- Support requests you send by email or other contact channels
3.4 Transactions and packages
- Package/subscription selections and payment-related records needed to fulfill paid features (for example featured listings or ad packages)
- Bank-transfer proofs or payment references where you submit them
3.5 Device, app, and technical data
- IP address, approximate network information, browser/app type, device model, OS version
- App version, crash/diagnostic logs, and standard server logs
- Push notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging) when notifications are enabled
- Advertising ID (AAID on Android) used for ads measurement and, where permitted, ad personalization via Google AdMob
3.6 Permissions used by the Android app
- Internet / network: required to operate the service
- Camera / photos: to upload listing images and profile photos (with your action)
- Notifications: to deliver service alerts when you allow them
- Not used in the current Android release: continuous GPS/fine location tracking; microphone recording for voice messages
4. How we use information
- Create and manage accounts; authenticate users
- Publish, display, search, and moderate classified ads
- Enable buyer–seller communication
- Process packages, payments confirmation, and seller verification workflows
- Send transactional notifications (e.g., messages, listing status)
- Improve reliability, security, fraud prevention, and performance
- Show ads (including AdMob) and measure ad performance
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
5. Advertising, AdMob, AdSense, and Advertising ID
YemenZel uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads to display ads in the mobile app (and may use related Google advertising technologies).
- AdMob and Google may collect or receive device identifiers (including Advertising ID), IP address, coarse device/app signals, and interaction data with ads, as described in Google’s policies and Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your device settings, regional rules, and Google’s systems.
- You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (for example Android Settings → Google → Ads) and review Google’s ad settings.
- We do not use precise device location solely for advertising in the current app configuration.
- Children’s content / Families policies: YemenZel is a general-audience classifieds marketplace and is not directed to children. See Section 10.

The YemenZel website may display Google AdSense ads in limited public placements, only after you accept optional cookies. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers, IP address, browser/device information, and ad interaction signals to serve and measure ads under Google’s policies.
We do not display AdSense on account, payment, chat, or legal pages. You can reject optional cookies from the consent banner and manage Google ad preferences at Google Ads Settings.
6. Third-party services
We use trusted processors/providers to operate YemenZel, including:
- Firebase / Google — authentication, cloud messaging (push), and related infrastructure
- Google AdMob / Google Play services — mobile app advertising and related SDKs
- Google AdSense — optional website advertising after cookie consent
- Hosting, database, and security providers — to store and serve the platform
- Payment channels you choose (e.g., bank transfer workflow) — limited to what is needed to confirm payment
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We configure them for YemenZel’s legitimate service purposes only.
7. When we share information
We may share personal data only as needed:
- With other users: information you publish in ads or share in chat is visible to the intended recipients / public pages as applicable
- With service providers: as described in Section 6
- For legal reasons: if required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the platform
- Business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to continued protection
We do not sell your personal information.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including account life, legal retention, dispute resolution, and security. You may request deletion of your account/data subject to legal and operational limits (for example records required for payments or abuse prevention).
9. Security
We apply administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of a marketplace platform (access controls, encrypted transport via HTTPS, server hardening). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your device.
10. Children’s privacy
YemenZel is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
The app and ads are intended for a general audience; we do not design the service as a child-directed app under Google Play Families / AdMob child-directed requirements.
11. Your choices and rights
- Access or update profile information in the app/website
- Control notification permissions in device settings
- Limit ad personalization via device/Google ad settings
- Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by contacting support@yemenzel.com
- Stop using the service and request account closure
We will respond within a reasonable period and as required by applicable law.
12. International processing
Our primary audience is in Yemen. Infrastructure or processors (including Google) may process data in other countries. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate contractual and security safeguards offered by those providers.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of YemenZel after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy. Material changes may also be highlighted in the app or website.
